Mr. Janjua has over 25 years of national and international managerial, advisory, programmatic, and analytical experience in humanitarian and development programs including public health, nutrition, education, health, livelihoods, water sanitation, capacity building and governance sectors. In varied capacities, he worked with UNDP, Relief International, Oxfam-GB, Merlin and Islamic Relief in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Kenya, South Sudan, and Niger. He has in-depth understanding of UN reforms, cluster approach and resource mobilization either through bilateral or pooled funding mechanisms. He has extensive experience and expertise in organization management, program development, program deliveries and regulatory compliance management. In his current role with UNDP, he provides strategic direction to strengthen coordination and partnership with government institutes, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), private sectors and NGOs for improved transparency and governance.
